A Digital Nomad
I have been interested in TEFL since 2011 actually. After 9 years of corporate life, I took a career-break in 2009 and went on to do a PGDMS in UK (Birmingham). When I got back to India (New Delhi) in 2011, I was no longer interested in the corporate rat-race and just wanted to break free. A lot of self-learning taught me how to 'make money online' and become a digital nomad.
I have been travelling since then and living in SE Asia since 2015, mostly in Vietnam and Cambodia while working online on my laptop. Now I finally want to start my English teaching career, help others and of course substantiate my online income as a result. Maybe not as a teacher, but over 9 years of work-experience with foreign multinational corporations, having trained and managed teams sure qualifies me, I guess.
I am still working on my online TEFL certification, but I have excellent English language skills, with an overall band score of 7.5 in IELTS, 8 in speaking.
