I am a qualified EFL teacher and enjoy creating fun and interesting lessons. I hope to engage with and inspire each one of my students and encourage them to continue on their journey to success. I love to create unique and specifically designed material for the needs and wants of each student. I can communicate well and teach at all levels and ages. I strive to create professional and personal environments for my students.
I have worked in the Hospitality Industry for 10 years as an Events & Wedding Coordinator as well as a Receptionist on Oceania Cruises. Throughout my time working in the front of house sector, I have had ample experience in working with different people from all walks of life. My positions have always been very administration and detail orientated. I have trained many employees over the years. Teaching has always been a large part of my job and passion of mine. I have worked with clients of all ages, from children to adults with many nationalities amongst them. I am eager to pursue a long-term career in teaching English as a foreign language and am excited to begin my new adventure. I love interacting with people from all around the world and wish to provide them with a personalized service and fun experience.
I am a native English-speaking graduate and a UK citizen, however I currently reside in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have completed a 168-hour Level 5 TEFL course as well as a 30-hour Business English TEFL course with The TEFL Academy.
I have a real desire to improve the lives of others by teaching English and giving them the knowledge and skills to succeed in life. I look forward to creating exciting and engaging lessons to motivate my students and help them to learn effectively and achieve their English learning goals.
I am new to the wonderful world of teaching English as a foreign language; however, I have had many successful years of working in the Hospitality industry with teaching and guiding staff members in their day to day tasks.
