I am delighted to put forward my CV for consideration for potential teaching positions that may be available within your organisation.
With 27 years’ combined teaching experience and 5 years as an ESL qualified teacher , I am confident I can be an asset to your team.
I am a skilled communicator who is able to develop relationships with both learners and colleagues easily. I am able to create a relaxed and comfortable learning environment and am committed to helping my learners fully realise their potential. I enjoy engaging with learners to identify and assess learning goals and to monitor and provide feedback to better achieve these.
In my last job role at The Liverpool School of English I taught a wide range of age groups including 11–18-year-olds during summer school and adults at the main school. These groups covered all ability levels from A1 to C2 and included general English, IELTS exam preparation, EAP and private lessons which I tailored to suit individual learner needs and interests. I am confident delivering lessons both face to face and online, having had experience with both Zoom and Microsoft Teams. I also regularly took part in CPD sessions at the school and am up to date with current safeguarding practices, HES legislation and have received PREVENT training. I have also recently completed the OET interlocuter and invigilator training and have undertaken both exam roles at LSE. In addition, to my teaching role, I also undertook six hours per week administration duties and have some knowledge of using CLASS. This role gave me experience of generating learning and test materials, making regular updates on TEAMS, use of eBooks and monitoring and collating feedback prior to producing reports for my manager.
Thank you for your time and I hope I get the chance discuss the job opportunity with you soon.
